I’m Telicia Slade, a provisionally licensed counselor in Colorado and the founder of Slade Counseling & Consulting. My approach to counseling is genuine, practical, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about what is really going on—not just what things look like on the surface.
Much of my professional experience has been working with adolescents and families navigating trauma, behavioral challenges, difficult relationships, major life transitions, and complicated family dynamics. I understand that people rarely fit neatly into a diagnosis or a treatment plan. I believe therapy should meet you where you are, help you understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and give you practical tools to create lasting change.
I especially enjoy working with teens, parents, families, and individuals who are ready to dig a little deeper. My style is compassionate but direct. I’ll support you, challenge you when needed, and create a space where you don’t have to pretend you have everything figured out. Whether you’re trying to heal from the past, strengthen relationships, navigate parenting, set healthier boundaries, or simply figure out what comes next, you don’t have to work through it alone.
At Slade Counseling & Consulting, my goal is simple: real conversations, practical support, and meaningful change.
